Introduction

This action sets the queue's status to Disabled, which causes Azure Service Bus to drop both sends and receives on the queue.

The pre-attack status is captured during Prepare and restored on Stop — a queue that was already in SendDisabled or ReceiveDisabled is restored to that exact state.

Use Cases

• Validate that producers gracefully handle a queue being unavailable (retries, backoff, dead-letter routing).
• Test consumer behaviour when a queue stops delivering — connection resilience, alerting, lag accumulation.
• Exercise the recovery path on the message pipeline after a brief queue outage.

Rollback

The queue's original status is automatically restored when the experiment stops. If the agent loses connectivity mid-experiment, the queue stays disabled until manually re-enabled.
